Road Kill. 2011.
As a child riding in the car with my mother, she would often mistake an article of clothing on the side of the road for an animals struck by a car. She would wince, get visibly upset and say a blessing as we drove past what she thought was an unfortunate creature. Confused, my brother and I would explain that it was only a pair of sweatpants. For this project I created the illusion of road kill by arranging clothing on the road side.
